Politique de remboursement

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at serviceclient@les1001.ca. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

This Return & Refund Policy (the “Policy”) governs the terms and conditions applicable to purchases made from 1001 Produits et Services d’entretien (“1001”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). It is intended to comply with applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (Québec).

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes rights granted to consumers under applicable law.


1. General Return Period

Subject to the conditions set out herein, returns are accepted within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery.

This contractual return policy is offered in addition to any rights provided under Québec law.


2. Legal Rights Under Québec Law

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (Québec):

  • Products must be fit for the purposes for which they are ordinarily intended
  • Products must be durable for a reasonable length of time, having regard to their price, intended use, and conditions of use
  • Products must correspond to their description, quantity, and advertised representations

If a product fails to meet these legal guarantees, the Customer may be entitled to:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund
  • Reduction of the purchase price

These remedies apply regardless of any commercial policy stated herein.


3. Eligibility Criteria

3.1 Chemical Products

Returns of chemical products will only be accepted if:

  • The product is unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging
  • No signs of leakage, contamination, or tampering are present
  • All safety labels remain intact

3.2 Paper and Disposable Products

Returns will be accepted if:

  • The product is unused and in original packaging, or
  • The product was received damaged or defective

3.3 Condition of Returned Goods

All returned items must:

  • Be in resalable condition, unless defective
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return under the commercial policy:

  • Opened or used chemical products (unless defective under legal warranty)
  • Products altered or damaged after delivery
  • Final sale or clearance items (except where required by law)
  • Custom or special-order products (unless non-conforming)

5. Damaged, Defective, or Non-Conforming Goods

Customers must notify 1001 within a reasonable timeframe, and preferably within five (5) days of delivery, if goods are damaged, defective, or non-conforming.

Claims must include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographic evidence

Upon validation, 1001 will, in accordance with applicable law:

  • Repair, replace, or refund the product
  • Cover reasonable return or replacement costs when applicable

6. Return Authorization Process

All returns require prior authorization.

To initiate a return:

  2. Provide order details and reason for return
  3. Await return instructions

Unauthorized returns may be refused.


7. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, except where:
    • The product is defective or non-conforming
    • The return results from an error attributable to 1001
  • Customers are encouraged to use a trackable shipping method

8. Refunds

All returns are subject to inspection.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original method of payment
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless required by law

Partial refunds may be issued where appropriate.


9. Exchanges

Exchanges are permitted for:

  • Defective products
  • Damaged products

Subject to product availability.


10. Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.
After shipment, the order is subject to this Policy and applicable legal rights.


11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this section limits rights granted under Québec law.

To the extent permitted:

  • 1001 is not liable for damages resulting from misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow instructions
  • 1001 shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages

12. Compliance and Right of Refusal

1001 reserves the right to:

  • Refuse returns that do not meet the conditions of this Policy
  • Limit or deny returns in cases of abuse or fraud
  • Modify this Policy at any time

  • Produits chimiques ouverts (sauf défectueux)
  • Produits altérés ou endommagés
  • Ventes finales
  • Commandes spéciales

5. Produits endommagés ou défectueux

Avis dans un délai raisonnable (idéalement 5 jours) avec preuves.

Solution : réparation, remplacement ou remboursement.


6. Autorisation de retour

Retour sur autorisation préalable via [Insert Email].


7. Frais de retour

À la charge du client sauf :

  • Produit défectueux
  • Erreur de 1001

8. Remboursements

  • Traitement en 5 à 10 jours ouvrables
  • Mode de paiement original

9. Échanges

Seulement pour produits défectueux ou endommagés.


10. Annulation

Possible avant expédition seulement.


11. Limitation de responsabilité

N’affecte pas les droits légaux du Québec.


12. Droit de refus

1001 peut refuser les retours non conformes.
